The Final Frontier You guys are amazing!!!!

It was my third attempt and I was in the loop of "The NPTE is out to get me" " I'm not good enough" and "why me". So here I am at my second failure finally reaching out for some help. Bhupinder Singh told me to not lose hope and I was a little hesitant but I told myself I needed to try something different. With a lot of push and dedication and multiple conversation to "keep pushing" by our professor, I knew this test was going to be my last and final attempt. Here we are. It's true what they say, never lose hope, always believe in yourself and appreciate the struggle!! THANK YOU NPTE- The Final Frontier You guys are amazing!!!!

So grateful to say I PASSED

Guys....This has been a tough and long journey. My school was wanting to postpone taking the exam this time. But Dr. Bhupinder Singh motivated me and helped me. I had to follow my gut. Without this group and this class I probably wouldn’t have made it through. Let me tell you.... ITS WORTH THE WORK, WAIT, & ANXIETY because we CAN do this.

I’m so grateful and happy to say that this time I finally PASSED!

You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must

“You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.” – Zig Ziglar.

By the grace of GOD I passed the NPTE exam. I am so so so thankful and grateful to all those who were with me and supported me through this journey. Before joining the NPTE FINAL FRONTIER class, I was in a dilemma to join this class or not but I must say that it was the best decision that I ever made. Dr. Bhupinder Singh is a goodhearted, humble person and he possesses immense range of knowledge in the field of Physical therapy. He loves helping students, speaks to them one on one and helps them figure out their weaknesses. While taking the class he makes sure that everyone understands the concept clearly, this he does by doing practice questions, and according to me this was the best part of the class. This boosted my confidence as it helped me realize that whether I am on the right track or I need to clear my concepts.

Through this journey I learned many things, the strategies to follow while giving the exam is very important, this is what you learn in the NPTE final frontier. The class is not just about learning academic stuff it’s about how you tackle a question and ultimately hit the correct answer. Some of the topics that helped me improve my score were:

1.      Special Tests

2.      Concave Convex rule

3.      GAIT

4.      Upper Limb and Lower Limb assignments

5.      Active/Passive Insufficiency

6.      Spinal Cord Injuries

7.      PNF Techniques

8.      EKG, AV Blocks

9.      ABG

10.  Research

The assignments and timetable that he and his team prepares are very important. If you follow it religiously I guarantee you that you will definitely pass the NPTE exam. The promptness in the service that they provide is remarkable. Be it whatever time you contact them, you will receive a reply immediately.

I would really like to stress on the importance of giving mock tests. I was a victim of not giving mock tests, which ultimately ended up in me getting lower scores. I thought only studying will help me get good score, but I was wrong. Giving mock tests helps one analyze what the strengths and weaknesses are.  Therefore, I started giving mock tests and revised the topics in which I was scoring less. I used MS Excel to keep a track of my progress (See attached image).

Once again those who are looking for correct guidance for the exam, I would highly recommend joining Dr. Singh’s class. His class is something that you would never want to miss.

Thank you so much Dr. Bhupinder Singh for the help and guidance you provided me. God bless you abundantly.

Dr. Singh and his team never gave up on me

It’s been exactly a week since the results and to be honest it still feels like a dream. During this time last week, I was so anxious. I was trying everything possible to keep myself from having a panic attack. Just missing the target score to clear the exam was so heartbreaking. It was difficult for me to pick myself up and start over again. I had to start working as well and continue to study for my next attempt. When it is already hard to stay positive, I started to hear more negative stuff from people that it would be hard to work and study on the side. It is during this time that I set up a time to talk with Dr. Bhupinder Singh. He told me to not lose my focus and showed me the big picture. He reminded me of the reason why I wanted to be a physical therapist and re-ignited hope. This is something that I never forgot. It not only helped to cut out the negativity but also kept me going when I felt lost. But after seeing the golden word “PASSED” in front of my eyes, made my heart literally skipped a beat. I just could not believe it; I was so happy. It was like a dream come true. I truly want to thank Dr. Bhupinder Singh for never giving up on me and helping me in my journey of not just becoming a licensed PT but a better clinician. His concepts, teaching skills, lectures, and assignments are truly excellent. His passion and dedication towards the profession and towards your success is unremarkable. Our group was not doing well in non-systems and this was also one of my weak areas, so he sends an email out saying everyone needs to plan on attending a 5-hour boot camp on Sunday for non-systems. He prepared a lecture for 5.30 hours and covered every detail. He gave us small breaks but didn’t take a break himself. He indirectly taught us how to build stamina for the actual exam. I felt so confident and everyone’s score in the group increased for the next practice tests. That’s what I call leading from the front!I also want to thank the entire team of NPTE Final Frontier. They are always there to help you and make everything available to you when you need it. I also want to thank my family and friends for lifting my spirits and keeping me smiling when I needed it the most. In the end, all I just want to add that if you ever feel defeated or lost, don’t worry, pick yourself up and most importantly don’t lose your focus. It’s just a matter of time, hard work always pays off!!

Study Bundle - Major Key for self paced learning

Last Tuesday's evening was stressful for me to see whether I passed my NPTE or not. Thanks God I made it successfully. I would like to thank Dr. Singh about his support throughout this journey. I did use his study bundle (access to study materials such as recorded lectures & review papers...etc) & it was so helpful for me since I used to study for NPTE on my own pace as well as I'm doing my PhD studies. Study bundle provides me with an accurate study schedule side by side with reading references in addition to recorded lectures for main concepts. Additionally, Dr.Singh answered my questions when I had doubts in some concepts. Contact Dr. Singh & he will make sure to assist you to pass NPTE.

Live Online Classes, NPTE 75 day Final Frontier

I am pleased to announce that I have also passed the Oct 25th NPTE. I could not curtail my excitement when I saw the word ‘PASSED’. It’s a dream come true for me. It has been a long and tough journey (becomes tougher when you are a foreign trained physical therapist). I would thank my husband, who is the co-author of my success story. He is the pillar of my strength and ensured that I followed my study schedule of 7-8 hours daily. He had no doubt that I can achieve this milestone. Credit for my achievement also goes to my entire family, especially, my brother, who motivated me to work harder.I would say that, this day would not have been possible without Dr Bhupinder Singh and his NPTE Final Frontier team. I started preparing for the exam in May, 2017 and to ensure that I pass the exam, I enrolled in his classes in August, 2017. It was my first attempt and when I talked to Dr. Singh before joining, he mentioned that the pass rate for foreign-trained PT’s is less than 30 percent, and I will needto work hard for the next few weeks to achieve my NPTE dream. He asked me my target score and the rest is history. I want to thank NPTE Final Frontier, especially my licensed study partner Akanksha, and the whole team.I would like to use this post to motivate people and share my study strategies. I have read almost entire O’Sullivan, Magee, parts of Kisner and Therapy Ed books for my preparation and also I strictly followed the NPTE 75 day Final Frontier timetable. I attended all the live classes online, on Saturday morning and Thursday evenings. Dr. Singh explained all the topics as concepts. I was not confident in MSK, so I followed his three step approach. Read MSK assignments, read special tests from my special test PowerPoint, and then open Kisner to read interventions. PNF was explained well in class (never understood it before) and I made a lot of tables forall Neuro scales. Cardiopulmonary was the easiest and all students in the class made a cardio 21 assignment which helped clear key concepts. My favorite part of the classes was gait and non-systems. Dr. Singh explained it like no one else could. He used bones and models of amputee legs to explain gait deviations and I will never forget his rationales. All classes were recorded and I listened to them at least twice. I remembered all his words during the exam (active passive insufficiency, spinal mobs, even his wife jokes on standard deviations, fit vs unfit men, concurrent validity).I always use to study alone and Dr. Singh supported the study style but supplemented it with a licensed study partner Akanksha. She helped me review all important concepts. She motivated me to go beyond my limits; she held me strong in my low days. I took one practice at the end of each phase and gotdecent scores in all exams. I spent two days reviewing the rationales and discussed the doubts with Dr. Singh in my one on one session. Every one on one session, we talked about the importance of studying from the textbooks and not just therapy Ed. Dr. Singh predicted a score of 720 and above. I thought hewas joking, I had seen pics of 700 plus people and my profile was not even close to them. I discussed with Akanksha and she arranged a session with Dr. Singh and I on Oct 23 at 8.00 pm. He conducted a viva asking a bunch of hard questions and I felt so confident. I was excited to take the exam and not nervous. I started dreaming big and the result is in front of you all, I ended up getting 737/800.
For anyone who is planning to take the exam, please consider talking to Dr. Singh. He is one of a kind. I have never seen an instructor with such knowledge and calmness. His patience and dedication is exemplary and doesn’t seem to be tired even after a big 3 hour class on spinal mobs (although I do thinkhe should drink water during breaks). I can’t say enough about the whole team. Rekha was always there managing WhatsApp group ( a 24 hour helpline). Thanks to Mini for managing google classroom and posting all assignments and solutions on time. I feel humbled by this achievement and will be willing tocontinue the Final Frontier philosophy of helping the next batch. Feel free to reach out and ask any questions.

NPTE- The Final Frontier made the difference- passed

Golden Words" PASSED" ... Did it on 6th, last attempt.
I am sharing my experience with all of you in the hopes to help and motivate those who are studying for NPTE. I will be honest to you all; it has been a long and rough journey. It wasn't an easy for me at all, but all struggle and series of compromises which led to this picture-perfect ending. Most of you know me from multiple classes and groups but it was NPTE- The Final Frontier that made the difference. I am a repeat offender .I passed on my 6th attempt. I used to follow this cycle---Take the exam, fail it, leave work to study harder, stop physical activity and sports , get poorer financially ,isolate myself and then retake the exam and fail again. I called Dr BHupider Singh after a recommendation and he talked to me and did a diagnostic session. As I was already enrolled in another class, I decided to buy his study bundle and took the exam again in JULY, 2017, and unlike most others: I did not pass and scored 74.Most of my friends passed except me. I was happy for them but I felt all is gone for me. I called him on a Sunday and we talked for almost 2 hours. He asked me to follow my "Natural Game". I told him I used to play in cricket league in New Zealand before moving to USA for my masters and he explained the NPTE to me like a cricket match. We talked about the importance of chasing a total even if you struggle in the beginning. I felt better and took it positively. Then he sent me a link of his cricket playing days at American Nationals from Iowa and emphasized on the importance of chasing a dream with passion. I started attending live classes; he would talk to me at regular interval. Everyone knows his classes are professional and super in content and you must have read multiple testimonials but it seems like it was dealing with a different person one on one. He would ask me cricket scores in the middle of class because he knew I was watching cricket even during classes.(Sorry sir:):) he would make fun of my bachelor habits ...ha ha ha...We set an individual study plan and he recommended me to go back to work. So I was working, attending classes, participating actively on the Whatsapp Study group ( Thanks Gowre Anurekha Arunachalam for managing the group so well), solving questions and playing sports every Sunday. One day during our whatsapp chat he said we needed 3 more one on one session and that I will pass. For the first session, he sent me the 250 question practice exam. That exam was harder than PEAT exam and probably the closest to actual exam. We discussed the rationale and made a list of my mistakes. For a Second session, I was asked to review all the lecture slides from our 11-12 week classes and conducted an hour rapid fire viva .(Throw random questions).I got more than 80% of them correct and became so confident. I was expecting more content during 3rd session but we talked in general about importance of stress management and sleep pattern. He showed me that confident and positivity. I felt like I had already passed the exam. I was happy receiving good luck wishes and reminder of my goals from sir .I have to admit here everything was covered in the class. I did it on my last attempt. It seems like a dream come true of passing NPTE.Thank you Final Frontier and its team. I did not achieve this all by myself. I had my wonderful family, my teachers and my friends throughout the journey .Thank you all.Thank you sir@Bhupinder Singh, for guiding and supporting me with your abundant knowledge and experience. Please contact me if you have any doubts. I will be happy to help in need.
DON'T GIVE UP! It's difficult to wait but worse to regret.
