The interview was around a topic that was sensitive and difficult to talk about, and so I was very nervous about trying to convey my thoughts well without being misunderstood. However, from the beginning, as it progressed, I felt more and more comfortable and genuinely felt like the interviewer was truly listening to try and understand, and not just take the words at face value. He was extremely professional and warm and made what could have been an unpleasant experience one that felt like it made a difference and added value, one which was worthwhile. I am very grateful to have has his leadership in the interviewing process.
